Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults

Are you curious about the Catholic faith?

Have you been baptized in another Christian faith and are interested in becoming a Catholic?

Were you baptized a Catholic and want to receive Eucharist and Confirmation?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, a warm welcome to you! The process of exploring the Catholic faith is called the RCIA.

The Rite of Christian Initiation is a gradually deepening process of exploring how God may be calling a person to a life of faith, exploring the person of Jesus, and encountering him and his community of believer, the Church.

Within this community, those inquiring into the Catholic faith uncover the story of God's salvation for all; the mystery of Jesus' life, death, and resurrection. The working of the Holy "spirit is revealed in the beliefs, sacramental life and spiritual practices of the Catholic Church.

This process unfolds gradually, in stages.  Progress from one stage to the next is marked by a liturgical celebration in the midst of the parish community.

RCIA sessions meet on Tuesdays, from 7:00 - 9:00 PM with a lite meal at 6:30 pm.  The process begins in late August and continues through until May of the following year.
