Father is a native of Kansas City and grew up in St. Thomas More Parish. He was ordained a priest for the Diocese of Kansas City-St. Joseph in 1991. Father holds a Master of Divinity from Mundelein Seminary, a Licentiate of Sacred Theology from the University of St. Mary of the Lake and a Master of Arts in Christian Spirituality from Creighton University. Father Cisetti has previously served as pastor of Immaculate Conception Parish in Richmond (200-2003), St. Bridget Parish in Pleasant Hill (2003-2007) and Holy Cross and St. Anthony Parishes in Kansas City (2007-2011). He also he serves as Director of Spiritual Formation for the Office for the Permanent Office. Father is chaplain to the Kansas City Serra Club and the Daughters of St. Francis de Sales. Father Cisetti is a Fourth Degree member of the Knights of Columbus and chaplain to Pope John Paul I Council at St. Therese.

Father has served at St. Therese twice before as associate pastor is pleased to be back at St. Therese once again. He says:

I am taken by our vision at St. Therese of witnessing to the Real Presence of Christ in every little way. This is a concise understanding that is Eucharistic and that involves the very sacramental and incarnational vision of our patroness, St. Therese of the Child Jesus. Blessed John Paul II spoke of parishes being schools of prayer. My hope is for us to be a living school of prayer and a community of intentional faith with each person reflecting the light, life and love of God.
