Faith Formation Committee-- represented active parishioners to develop strategic direction and coordinate parish-wide faith formation initiatives. It seeks to provide a wide variety of ways for all parishioners to grow in their faith - with a goal of cultivating a "living, explicit, and fruitful faith."
Bulletin -- provides information and faith formation in and beyond our parish. Deadline for submitting requests to bulletin is Friday afternoon, 8 days before the publication.
Parish Library - located in the Wooldridge Center and open to all parishioners, the library provides a variety of tapes, DVDs, and books appealing to all ages.
The library resources are intended to be a tool for the development and enrichment of parishioners' faith lives. (We welcome the donations of books, CD's and DVD's subject to established guidelines.
Sacramental Prep
Baptismal Preparation Class is held on the THIRD MONDAY of each month, except the month of December. Class meets at 7:00 PM in the Wooldridge Center Meeting Room. Parents should be registered parishioners and both are expected to attend the one-time session.
Baptisms may be scheduled on Saturdays after the 4:30 PM Mass or Sunday after the 12:00 PM Mass; during the 4:30, 10:00 or 12:00 Masses or by appointment.
First Communion & Reconciliation are sacraments typically celebrated by children in second grade, both those attending St Therese School and those in the Religious Education program.
Confirmation is one of three Sacraments of Initiation. Youth being preparation their freshman year and are confirmed the second semester of their
sophomore year.
Marriage - registered members of the parish are welcome to celebrate the Sacrament of Marriage in our church. Couples are asked to contact the Parish Office a minimum of 1 year prior to a desired wedding date.
RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) is the process by which adults are fully initiated in the Catholic faith community. The sessions last for approximately nine months and meet every Tuesday evening from 7:00-9:00 PM. The process encompasses four formation periods: Pre-catechumentate (Inquiry), Catechumenate, Purification & Enlightenment, and Mystagogia.
Bible Study - there are several groups that meet at varying time. The purpose of Bible Study is to produce the fruit of a closer relationship with our Lord, to make God's holy word more understandable, to make the Mass more meaningful, and to share fellowship with one another.
Small Christian Communities engage parishioners in small goups/communities (6-15 people) for the common purpose of aplying gospel values to every aspect of their lives through mutual support, faith reflection, and group prayer.
